66th Confluence and 9th Falcons are hosting a Brownsea Training Camp at Babler State Park. By the end of the weekend participants will have demonstrated proficiency in all the skills necessary to be invested as Rover Squires and will have met other Rovers and Scouters. BPSA Commissioner David Atchley will be our lead trainer. We’ll be at the Special Use area of Babler State Park in Wildwood, Missouri (just outside of St. Louis). Brownsea training is intended for adult leaders and Rovers and will include an introduction to BPSA and cover the basic skills resulting in adults being invested as a Rover Squire. Instructors: Kemper Straley and Rick Saunders When: 7pm Friday May 17. Depart 4:00 Sunday May 19 Location: Friendly Beaver Campground, New Boston, NH Cost: /person Register here: https://www.wepay.com/events/spring-2013-brownsea-northeast Children are absolutely welcome and there will be activities at the campground for them. But an adult who is not part of the training will have to be responsible for them and keep them entertained.
