Find a Group

Traditional Scouting for Everyone

BPSA is represented across the United States, but we are not yet in every community. You’ll first want to check on our Groups Map and connect with an existing registered BPSA Group in your area. If you don’t find a group nearby, or if the group is at capacity, you may consider starting a group or joining the 1st Lone Scouts

Once you find a group, read through their websites, and consider following their Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram feeds. Be sure to email directly for more information.

Every group will be different in regard to frequency of meetings, cost, leadership, etc. Some groups have been actively scouting for years, while others are still in the planning stages. There is a place for everyone in developing these groups, and we encourage you to contact them. Everyone in the organization is a volunteer, and you are likely to find dedicated volunteer leaders who will be happy to hear from you. Contact us if you have any questions.

We welcome everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion (or no-religion) or other differentiating factors. Our mission is to provide a positive learning environment within the context of democratic participation and social justice. We foster the development of scouts in an environment of mutual respect and cooperation.
